Learn How To Play Drags!

The drag (or ruff) is a rudiment that is very simiar to the flam. For the flam you play two quick notes in succesion of each other. The first note is a little quieter and the second note was accented. When playing the drag you want to play a double with your first hand and a single with your second hand. The double that you play with your first hand should be played quieter than the last note of the drag.

Playing the drag smoothly will take some time to master. The two grace notes with the same hand are sometimes hard to make even, but with enough practice, you will be playing drags like a pro.
