Learn How To Play The Single Ratamacue!

The single ratamacue is a triplet based rudiment with a little drag in front of it. So you would start right hand drag, left tap, right tap, left tap, left hand drag, right tap, left tap, right tap. Be sure to alternate lead hands as you go.

After a rudiment review on the snare, exercises 1 and 2 provide a couple examples of the rudiment by itself before exercises 3 and 4 add a lead in drum beat and use the rudiment as a fill. Those last two examples can be rather complicated, so take your time and play them slowly.
